Bartholomew D. Reidy
Bartholomew Reidy began working for Stephen G. Ralls during the summer after his first year in law school. His choice to go to work for Stephen G. Ralls was based upon Bartholomew’s belief that there is no better way to develop into an effective and successful defense attorney, and to hone one’s trial skills, than to go to work for one of the best in the business. Without question, joining the firm was the best professional decision he has ever made.
Bartholomew received his Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Arizona and his Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden. Licensed to practice in Arizona, Bartholomew is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and in Arizona state court. Bartholomew exclusively practices criminal defense and has tried cases with charges ranging from minor felonies to Murder, Drive-by-shooting, Auto Theft and serious drug trafficking matters.
Benjamin W. Aguilera
Benjamin Aguilera brings knowledge and experience acquired from over a decade of criminal law practice to Ralls, Aguilera & Reidy P.C. Mr. Aguilera’s appellate practice experience and strong focus on research and writing have served to compliment Stephen G. Ralls’ attention-to-detail approach to case preparation. He is part of an experienced team committed to a an unparalleled level of resolve. Mr. Ralls’ collaborative team method of case organization is the foundation for a successful criminal defense, the result of which has been thousands of successful outcomes in cases involving serious felony charges.
Benjamin is a proud alumni of the University of Arizona and the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law. A longtime Tucson resident, Benjamin is committed to the community he calls home. With this in mind, he believes strongly that he has an obligation to utilize his legal expertise to help those in need. He has over a decade of volunteer experience as a supervising attorney for the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law Child and Family Clinic advising and representing domestic violence abuse victims.
Susan Bryson Fox
Susan Fox has been practicing criminal defense law in the State of Arizona since 1994. During her legal career, Ms. Fox has handled criminal cases involving everything from theft and embezzlement, to criminal conspiracies, to drug and RICO offenses, to capital murder prosecutions. Ms. Fox’s current practice focuses on legal research and writing, which encompasses the creation of compelling trial motions, pleadings, and memoranda. She has also successfully advanced numerous criminal appeals.
Ms. Fox is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, and has been admitted to practice in the Arizona state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Fox served as a guest speaker in the area of prosecutorial misconduct for the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice. Her cases have been favorably reviewed in the Bureau of National Affairs Criminal Law Reporter and in The Champion, a publication of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Ms. Fox is a graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. She earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees at Prescott College, where she majored in Business Administration and Secondary Education, and minored in Mathematics.
Francisca Valenzuela Leyva
Since 2005, Francisca Valenzuela Leyva serves as of counsel (a consultant regarding the laws and litigation processes in the Republic of Mexico) for Ralls, Aguilera & Reidy P.C. Ms. Valenzuela is licensed to practice law exclusively in Mexico. Francisca maintains an active separate private practice in Hermosillo, Mexico, where she litigates in the areas of criminal, civil and family law. Ms. Valenzuela graduated from the College of Law of the University of Sonora, and has been practicing law for over ten years.
At Stephen G. Ralls, P.C., Francisca provides invaluable knowledge regarding international agreements, as well as the preparation and filing of legal documents in Mexico. She is able to intervene on behalf of our clients before the corresponding Mexican courts in order to ensure due process. At all times, Francisca provides highly competent, direct, and personalized legal solutions in an effective and timely manner.
